Iffy I might jump on this one as well after taking a second look and pulling up Vanden Hurk's recent minor league performances and coaches' comments. Thanks for posting this. You know Thompson will be mediocre, and just hope Vanden Hurk can keep up his form from the last couple of weeks. Even if he doesn't you still have the possibility of winning the game in a slugout at home. GL to us as I'm close to pulling the trigger as well...

I like Florida here as well, although I'm not sure why you'd want to take the home positive RL. Stl has a decent pen, so that supports it a bit, but positive RLs are good for games with low volatility and high certainty, and this game comes with relatively high volatility and low certainty IMO.
But yes, if Vanden Hurk can continue his Triple A performance, Florida as a small favorite is a very good bet. |
