Was about to post this. Struck out the side 3 innings in a row, and is already halfway to the MLB record. I think the Cy Young torch is being passed tonight.

Isn't Peavy a better pitcher than Webb? Why was there steam towards Webb?

Webb is phenominal also, and peavy historically is bad against arizona. they are one of the few teams who used to light him up.
peavy is 12 strikeouts against 15 batters. very very impressive. I hope SD can put up a couple more runs for him to secure this bet.

8 more Ks in 4 innings and he will tie for the record - I think Clemens and Kerry Wood have it, there may be others.

Peavy is starting to run out of gas guys. He's already made over a 110 pitches.

Webb has to come out as some point as well, because he's made about a 110 pitches so far as well.

And the first batter hits one out. If Peavy doesn't get the W in this one, that is a tough, tough, ND.

I would agree Razz. Those ND factors will really hurt you mentally sometimes. However I think he faces Washington in his next start, so I don't see any problems that might happen there.

I have a large bet on San Diego tonight. Linebrink giving up that bomb on first batter really hurts. 3 more outs... I hope to god they hold it.

Fcuk Peavy, that was a bankroll hitting walkoff. But I guess the Padres should of scored more runs.
I need the Giants to pull it off for a winning day now.

Still, 10 strikeouts in 7 with 3 earned runs isn't too shabby. Got to be an early Cy Young candidate if he can keep this up.

Your right about that Taco. I'm just saying though, look who it's against is all. The Nats are just a strikeout machine is all.
