Exclamation MLB relievers that give you a stomach ache when you see them coming in?

Today just reminded me of how bad a certain crop of relievers give me a stomach ache when I see them coming into the game, no matter how big the lead is.

Like Alan Embree today for the A's, I was like Fcuk Me when I seen he was coming in. Then BAM...a 3 run shot to cut the A's lead to 1.

I would have to say Latroy Hawkins would lead the way, but Alan Embree is another that just seems to give it up.

David Riske actually helped me out today, but he is another one.

Lets hear it guys.

Ain't no doubt about Letroy Hawkins being the leader of this group.

I have to say a close second for me is Matt Herdges. That guy always screws me over every time he enters a game, and it doesn't matter on the situation either. There could be 2 outs and nobody on base, and that guy will give up at least 1 run in that inning.

You forgot John Raush

I think that guy specializes in giving up 3 run shots in the 8th inning

The one on the top of my head right now is Embree. He was terrible with my Red Sox, and he cost me money tonight by allowing a three-run HR to Aubrey Huff that **** my under play.

Brian Fuentes. Gives up a game-tying HR to Damion Easley with 2 outs in the 10th.

Standard practice for me lately. Think I had 5 or 6 9th inning meltdowns over this past weekend.

Same here. You get use to it after awhile and start to laugh at it.

Ask Dan, the other night I just had to laugh on a meltdown, because you can just about call it. Thats how bad it is.

That's why they're the Rockies.

Why would I be glad it went to extra innings? Aaron Cook was brilliant and deserved to win. The Rockies had the game won before the 12th anyway. Fuentes is the closer.

??????? The guy has pitched 25 innings in his career. And he's not the closer, Fuentes is.

Why would I be glad it went to extras? They had the Mets down to their final out with Damion Easley up and managed to lose. Explain to me why I should be glad.

Ryan Dempster surprises me. Got the Cubs out of a base loaded, 1 out jam in the bottom of the 8th.

Dempster came through for me yesterday though, so I give them a pass for now.

Trevor Hoffman has blown two consecutive saves ops, thats the first since 1997 I think I heard. Should we add him to the list?

My thoughts exactly. I'm a SF Giants fan and absolutely cringe when his number is called. Every outing is a fricken adventure with him. Walk, single, out, double, walk, out, walk, etc. Granted he is doing well so far this season, but over time I'm confident he will revert back to his old self.
