Have to take a look at the odds on the dodgers game. Phillies pitcher Blanton is currently on a 5 game winning streak and is due for a loss. Blanton has defeated the brewers twice and the marlins twice. The other win was against the lowly nationals. Blanton defeated Bush and Suppan in his 2 starts against the brewers. Blanton also defeated Sanchez of the Marlins two times during his 5 game winning streak.
Blanton has not faced a quality starter since facing Rich Harden on August 29th. I like the dodgers to win tonite. THe phillies had to use their bullpen just to stay close in this game. The dodgers do have an advantage here. The dodgers did not have to use bullpen too much after building a big lead in this game. |
