Default boston/LA over 8

Anyone like the over in this game? Santana sports a stellar 5.73 career ERA in 3 games against Boston and Matsuzaka only has 1 game against LA but got rocked for a 10+ ERA.

Can see the logic you have here and I tend to agree. Santana is a different pitcher than he was when the Sox compliled those numbers, and Dice we only have one sample size...but I do see your point.

Especially with a shaky Sox pen...I do like the play. I'm on LAA -130 and maybe will add the over as well. I do expect Dice to hit up a bit even with Vlad's usual awful post season appearances.

Sox/Angels: I am feeling the over in this as well,
both teams came out yesterday with some good pitching and scored 7 just under the posted 8 for a big fat vinner for me.
The two starters tonight are not near as consistent numbers wise and both teams bats should wake up even more in game two.
Just a hunch...
Currently 25-15 in my last 40 for MLB
Currently 8 0f last 9 big fat vinners for playoffs

I'd rather do Red Sox than the Over. Santana's ERA may not reflect in his performance tonight. Dice-K has been awesome on the road, going 9-0 (2.37 ERA). With Santana's 5-5 (4.03 ERA) home record, I'd take a chance with the team with the better playoff experience.

Not a bad call either....If i was to pick a pitcher in that game, i will lean toward, Dice. He is due for a stand out game. I will be laying on the sox +120. GL my friend.

** Beckett is going to be up and getting some work in the pen today, might bring a little more life/excitement back into the team....teams always want to give their ace a chance to pitch, i know that really dosen't mean much, all teams want to win, just a little nugget speaking from personal experience...
9-1 in in playoff games this year....

The over is an obviuos pick. I look to see Pappi and Youk to have a big game, plus Vlad is ready to unload and DiceK has seemed to hang alot of balls lately.

2+ Units on OVER

I wouldnt say the over is OBVIOUS with dice-k and santana on the mound. But I lean the over as well.

dice-k gave up more than usual in last years playoffs
santana's had most of his quality starts vs lowly division opponents sea and oakland

going over 4 for the first five
