Buyer beware. Lince threw 138 pitches last time out... The time before he threw over 130 he got rocked for 5 ER.
Just some food for thought.

I don't know if Lincecum is the best pitcher in baseball, but he's always an automatic play.

Going around saying you are 12-2 you're last 14 picks will do you no good... You think that impresses anyone here? GL with you're plays tomorow but ill take Limnecum over Randy ANY DAY...

Lincecum is the best pitcher in baseball, but he did throw 265 pitches in his last two starts. Makes me nervous.
I did pick the Giants, though. Even money. Maybe Lincecum comes through again.

Anyone think that if Lincecum wins the game this evening they move him up one in the rotation to get two more starts the next go round with an off day so by years end he has a chance at 20 wins. 20 wins would have to guarantee him the Cy Young.

it isn't close at all.
A few morons still say Webb, but that's because they think wins are all that matter, and they ignore losses, ERA, and SOs.
Lincecum in a landslide, no matter what happens the rest of the way.

The lesser-known curse
|
his recent bad outing was in Colorado, I saw the whole start. His curve ball and change up were not moving at all, flat as a pancake (probably due to the altitude). May run into a similar problem today with the dry air in Arizona. Not really a strong feeling either way, would like the Giants better if they could do anything against LHP lately.

Other than the obvious Lincecum vs Johnson factor, I'm looking at the Arizona bats. They're the worst hitting team in mlb over the last month (3.6 runs/game, and even less this last week).
$1000 on sf at -102 for me.

Yes that will be the deciding factor in this game it will come down to BATS... And at this moment going on who is batting better and scoring more runs i would have to say the giants... I know they lost yesterday but they recked Webb and lost only by 1 point... This will propbley be a low scoreing game but giants win...

Velez is way out of position in left field, but they've had guys out of position all year so no surprise. A decent left-fielder catches Upton's looping liner....
