What a turn around....I was watching it without the sound and thought they called it a catch at first....then saw all the commotion afterwards and figured it out. Gotta love it!

If I understand the rule correctly, the run would have counted if the second out on the play (3rd of the inning) had been by a tag, and the runner had already crossed home plate.
