    Default SFG v STL Cards

I'm new to baseball, but I'm thinking of betting

St. Louis -140 and was wondering if you guys could give me input as to if this is a good or bad choice. As far as my research shows it's good, but I'm curious to hear what the pros have to say.

I'm not a "pro." Still toil at a dayjob. But I'll say this:

On paper, that bet should not lose. Cards are hot, and every Giant should be batting 8th.

But, that said, I am staying away, because spirits are way high in SF right now. They've had some magic in their last two outings. With a - in front of the moneyline, and that sort of attitude in the opposing dugout, I'll just look elsewhere. I prefer a + in front of the moneyline. It doesn't take much for me to stay away from a favorite in baseball. That's just me.

Good luck. I hope it comes through for you if you play it.

Cards look like the bet on paper. The juice seems a bit high, but I still think they are a good choice.

I like the Cards line here a ton.....I've watched the last 4 games by the Giants, and they look awful. They are riding a tiny bit of momentum, but Omar Vizquel and Dave Roberts are on the 15 day DL, Randy Win and Araon Rowand are Day-toDay and Correia is in the bottom of their rotation pitching against StL's number 1 Wainwright!

    Good luck

wainwright is the real deal, especially against a lineup with bengie molina batting cleanup. I like STL in this one both ML and RL. Go for it and GL.

Bengie Molina has been really luck as of late, and I don't see this continuing!

Pujols is also 7-for-17 (.412) with two homers and five RBIs in his last four games at San Francisco.

I was thinking about taking the RL as well....I'm hoping for a 5-7 run blow out!

do you mean by 2 because right now I have Cards -1.5(+125)
    or cards -2.5(+190)

I like either of those, but am myself going with the +125.

    DITTO.
I'm from St Louis and hardly ever bet on the home team. This one was too good to pass up. Wainright should go thru this line up pretty easily. I don't care that SF has won a couple games, just look at how they won those games.
On RL and ML on this one.

Last time i saw this many ppl on a pic it was Memphis and that didnt work out too well. (Still havent watched ESPN or listened to sports radio since then.) I also don't know much about capping baseball. That being said, i've got my biggest bet of the season on the cards. Just looks too good to pass up.

I think that I will go for the 1st five as well...I don't see the Giants scoring on Wainwright.

Cards bats looked better that time up, hope they get it together fast though. Put a little on them for the first 5 right before first pitch
