    Default verlander at home vs the chisox

    looks like a pretty solid play to me. chisox are really hot right now, and garcia has a pretty impressive record against detroit over his career, BUT the tigers have seen garcia several times the year already, verlander has been very sharp at home this year and has yet to face the sox this year. (last year he was 3-0 in 3 starts vs chicago). the public is pounding the sox, as it seems they would be, and the line has moved in favor of detroit. why is detroit favored by so much if the sox are on a tear right now? the books are begging for chicago money.

    Verlander is always worth a look as a dog because of his electric potential. His erratic nature also make him a potential fade as a big favorite.

    this line is ridiculous at -160ish. you cannot lay -160 vs a team winning 7 in a row or whatever vs a team that has nothing to play for. this is the type of game where i like detroit based on not liking them the line is too high in this situation for certain.

    every book i have seen the line is going down on chicago or hasnt moved i dont know what ur talking about....white sox were at +150 and now +143
