Is it just me or did three-quarters of the country lose interest in baseball with the start of the college football season?

Here in Southern California especially we needed the football season to start. The Dodgers and Angels have long since tanked and the Lakers first-preseason game isn't for another month. If you've still got a 'dog in the hunt' in regards to the pennant races I suppose you've still got enjoying baseball but personally I'm real happy football season has begun.

Thank God for the gridiron.
