Default I'm down $300 for the week, can you help me?

I wager $50 a game and need to get out of the hole by Sunday. I got killed with STL, ATL and CWS today. I don't want to pay the man.

I have lost my confidence and need some help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

16.6% per game is way to much. fix your money management and take it easy with 2-3 bets per day

    First of all.....dont beg...

and if ONLY 3 games killed you.....its obvious you have no money management
and should not be betting at all...

    sorry...thats just how I feel.....

take a couple of days off if you need to, clear your head

my best piece of advice would be dont stay chasing your losses, especially on chalky favourites

    Send me some SBR points....

And Dont chase with STL tomorrow just because its the biggest favorite on the board.

    Good luck.

Not a good time to bet bases. Take it easy for a while.

Beating a dead horse here. But, i think you should take the rest of week off, suck it up and pay the man. If you are going to gamble you are going to have down weeks. It is a fact. And, if you cant handle it, you will not be successful.

Once you pay and are back to zero, come back with a clear head.

Make yourself a rule to follow on how much juice you are willing to pay at most. For me I have a rule of not paying higher than -180 chalk. I don't care how good a pitcher is or how sure a team is going to win, I am not going to bet on any more than -180 line. The biggest thing about baseball is understanding juice and finding good value lines that will help you profit in long run. If you are going to bet on all the favorites all the times, chances are you will lose in a long run because of the juice. Learn how to bet on underdogs and good values. That way you can go 2-2 on the day and still make profit compared to betting on favorites and losing money. Another thing about baseball is don't blindly bet on Ace pitchers. Just because they are Aces don't mean they won't lose. Like Halladay tonight, -330 juice line ended up losing to Astros. Learn to avoid high juice and you will be fine.

wow down $300.00 for the whole week. most of us are down a lot more than that on today's board raping. it has been ugly (congratulations if you posted a profit). we'd all love to make it back quickly too... but it doesn't work that way.

manage your BR or it'll manage you. i suggest taking some time off and coming back with a plan. read some books. beating sports betting and making money isn't easy. i'll hopefully make mine back over the next couple of days, but if i lose again, i'll get it back eventually and then some.

tomorrow i won't be playing a lot of games... scary looking card.

no shame in droping from 50$ to 20 or 10 , but best to bet less and less often when its not going well, gl.

all of this advice is great advice.. i was suprised because most of the time people are jerks.. you were lucky.. my 2 cents is if you bet your going to lose.. its a fact.. if it hurts too bad and if it then effects your decision making process.. you are in the wrong buisness... asking people for winners when you are down is not a successful solution.. you should have a process and go through the same process everyday adjusting on the fly to the different factors that are thrown at you by the house.. if you do this you will learn and have a chance at winning longterm.. if you do not do this you will lose.. i promise you.. no matter whether you have won or lost you should go through the same process everyday.. looking for a quick fix winner is only going to prolong your problem.. good luck
