I like Milwuakee...i've been keeping up with their offseason moves and they have gotten much better.....last year they won 81 games with Ben Sheets out a large portion of the year...who knows how good this team could be if they have him for an entire year...he could get them 20 wins alone. Doug Davis and Chris Capuano should be solid too.

Compound that with a year under Rickie Weeks belt and JJ Hardy and now Prince Feilder will be there and some old timers like Geoff Jenkins and Carlos Lee and throw in Corey Koskie who will challge Bill Hall another solid position player and you have to like MIL's chances to finish with 81+ or more....

I think Senator7 who also follows the Brewers closely would have a similar analysis but I am curious to see what he thinks too.

I like the Cardinals under 94.5 wins. Considering they've really done nothing substantial in the off-season except for losing Matt Morris (good or bad, depending on his state of mind on a given day), there's bound to be a drop off from the previous two seasons.

winston, i agree with that play myself.

the only thing the cardnails did was decline over the off season.

Even without a serious decline, asking a team to win 95 games in a season means asking them not to have any lulls. A couple 3- or 4-game losing streaks and you're already on thin ice. I just don't see it.

That said, they do get 19 games against the Reds, Pirates, and Cubs.

I don't know..I have a hard time believing they can duplicate their season last year. Losing Millwood will hurt them. They should've kept Millwood instead of going for Jason Johnson and Paul Byrd.

Their schedule is a little tougher also this year.

I think the Twins will take 2nd place next year. Luis Castillo and Shannon Stewart will be dangerous at the top of their order and Morneau and Mauer will have good years.

Milwakee under looks too good to be true. They are gonna lose 100 games
    probably. bottom 5 payroll.

Yankees over looks great. Yanks break all records. Team finally gels.

    Angels over looks awesome.

MIL/CHC is emerging a really good rivalry these days....I don't see the Brewers losing 100 games at all...in fact...they should finish in the top half of the NL Central and compete for the postseason this year. They are building something special in MIL now.
