Great day today! We won all 4 of our A bets, and like I mentioned in the 2 posts above...

I loved Arizona today...and they crushed the Pirates

I wanted to lay off of the Angels because of the pitching matchup...and they got blown out at home

As you can see, I have gotten myself into a bit of of jam with this Boston play. For those not current on the situation, I won an A bet in the first sox/yanks game. I thought they would win at least 1 more in the series, and I was wrong. Lesson learned early in the season...when 2 top teams are playing each other, and you get your unit and win for the series, dont get greedy. But I decided to try and win another 1/2 unit, and I am paying for it now. I have lost an A, B and C bet, but luckily it has only been for 1/2 a unit. I will chase this until Boston wins, which will hopefully be with Beckett tomorrow.

But aside from this Boston deal, we are 12-0 so far on the season. A great start to the season!

Been a great start so far Rev. Hopefully Boston can get off the snide tomorrow and get a win. It will be tough with Greinke on the mound for KC but I'm chasing Boston in this series. Greinke is 1-2 vs Boston in his career but has around 2.30 ERA. Beckett is 5-0 vs KC and hopefully that streak continues. Good Luck

I am right there with you. I really like the pitching matchup in game 3 for Boston, but I hope Beckett can win tomorrow.

I am not going to make any official picks for Saturday, but there are a handful of games where I like the match-ups. I will be making small plays on a few of these games myself.

    Leans for Saturday:

    Brewers
    Arizona
    Twins
    Yankees
    Mariners
    Angels
    Points Awarded:

I see those 6 plays going at worst 4-2, but more likely 5-1.

Lets root for Boston to get the win tomorrow against Greinke. I would love to be able to sit back Sunday, enjoy the Masters and not have to be worried about Boston getting swept at KC.

I know that Arizona at -260 looks like crazy high juice...and it is...but Haren was dominate in his first start and the Pit starter, McCutchen, only threw 13 innings during Spring Training, and is Pit's #5 starter. If I end up playing this game, it will be on the -1 RL, but I really see another beat-down for Pit tomorrow against Arizona!

Hey Reverend, any idea what happened to Stingy? I like your strategy on the systems alot. You asked for feedback on the other thread so I will throw in my .02 I think you would do well to stick to your systems and not get too into the individual games. I definitely think we should layoff of the series when one of our top teams is at home but playing another great team also like the Boston Yanks series. I don't mind betting great teams on the road against bad teams like Philly against Houston and Boston against KC. I appreciate all your work and sharing your picks. BOL

I am not sure about Stingy. We had been in pretty much constant communication, but I have not heard from him in a few days.

Thanks for your thoughts. I agree with you. I am regretting chasing that 2nd Boston win. I will be outlining some various strategies on Monday.

    Lets keep this up!

Luckily, this was just to win .5 units on the A bet, so it is not a "true" D bet in terms of how much I have on the table...

But, I do need the Sox to pull out the win!

Lets hope those Sox can hold on for the W. I'm on them too.

Allright fellas...nice to pick up that Boston win today and have 0 pending chases.

Great start to the first week of the season at 13-0 (+13.5 Units)

A few of these have chases have been under a different strategy, so it is my plan tomorrow afternoon to breakdown the different systems I play and organized my record accordingly. I will also start playing the "favorite" system next week. I think we learned alot in the first week, and I am really looking forward to the rest of the season!

I did followup today Saturday with the Angels. As I mentioned earlier, I played the 'A' bet on Friday with the Angels before I left for work in the morning and realized that you were passing on them. They did come through for those of us who played them on the money line. Thank Goodness.

I was bored at work last night so I put together a spreadsheet for 3 and 4 game chases for 8 home teams. Yankees, Red Sox, White Sox, Rays, Angels Phillies, Cardinals and Dodgers. Also included 8 away teams, Royals, Indians, Blue Jays, Athletics, Astros, Padres, Nationals and Pirates. If Reverend doesn't mind I can attach it to one of his threads or send me a private message. I'm not trying to take over just trying to make it easier to identify the basic chases that are available. I usually just lurk but decided to try and give something back to his thread if he's okay with it. I'm going to bed for now, pulled a 12 hr shift last night and just got home. Will check in around 2pm EST. Thanks for all your input Reverend.

    Default Spreadsheet

Here ya go guys. Here is a spreadsheet I found to track 3 game chases. You can add to it for 4-6 game chases or whatever if you need more.

I am posting the link to give the guy credit who made it. The link has two videos if anyone needs help with the spreadsheet. They show you how to change the % of bankroll to bet etc...

The download is in the middle of the page.

Fantastic Information. I've been trying to tell my buddy that he needs to do a better job of money management. This tells it like it is. Thanks very much.
I'm not sure if I heard correctly, but if this method is followed correctly, did he say you could be a millionaire in 5 years? Going to listen to that again to be sure.

    no problem

hope it is useful to you

LOL, I don't know about the millionare part. I watched the videos, but it was a while back so I don't remember what he said. It seems like I do recall him saying something like that though. I was just searching for spreadsheets and stumbled across this one.

These are not "standard" plays, bc i would be playing the visitor, but I am looking at them in a series chase as well:
