When I handycapp baseball I look at the fundamentals and techicals. The fund. being pitching match ups,batting,bullpen,ect. The tech. being opening lines and the changes in thoses lines. Today there is a line that sticks out to me it looks suspiciously low. Its the total on the T.B./BALT. GAME.! I find it odd that this total is 8.5. Both teams are good hitting teams where the D.H. IS USED. Both pitchers Millwood and Shields are nothing great. Why is the line not 9 ? The bookies know more than you and me, the line is set there for a reason. The play is UNDER ON THIS GAME,BUT WAIT IT MAY HIT 9.! Back latter with a play.

FYI - At the start of an inn. when the leadoff hitter gets on,that team has a 34% chance of scoring 1+ runs.

Do you have any thoughts on the Cubs today? Dempster pretty good value I think. I dont see the braves sweeping this series & this might be the best chance for them to win after getting embarrassed yesterday. Not wanting you to force plays terp, just asking an opinion.

what up my friend, yea if our pussy bullpen didnt blow a save that would have gave Wainwright 20 wins maybe he wins it....i like the redbirds of coarse but kinda like the over 8 better, may play cards already grabbed over....bullpen did not look sharp the other day giving up at least one run in every inning and Wainwright has struggled some in cincy not to mention i wouldnt expect him to go past 6 anyway...but dont see a lot of reason why we dont get ours so over seemed like a good play...

I agree with over. Only way they don't win like you said, if fukin Franklin gets to pitch again. Cards need to find a true closer or they may lose more than a handfull of games that they should have won. Franklin lucked into a lot of those saves last year and eventually wore out.
