Default Is is true MLB is the easiest sport to handicap?

I hear from alot of people it is. I did cap this sport a few years ago but didnt really stick with it. Is it a hard sport to pick the winners or is it as difficult as the NBA cuz trust me the NBA is where my game is at and it is extremely hard.

For me yes. But I know the sport inside and out. I follow all other sports but don't know everything there is to know about them like I do with baseball. If I did, maybe my opinion on baseball being the easiest would change.

Not sure if it's the easiest, but it's definitely one of the easiest, especially for me.

Between all Major American Spots, Baseball is the most profitable one in my opinion.

NFL is the hardest one. Lines are very sharp.
NBA is not easy to cap and lines are sharp. However, you can have an edge if you go deep in Prop bets/Player bets/Quarter bets and some Total bets. You can beat NBA if you're selective and don't jump on all games.

These two sports have something in common. They're very popular. The most popular a sport is, harder it gets to beat!

Hockey and baseball are more easy to cap and more profitable. Thanks to 162-game schedule, baseball offers lots of betting opportunities for 7 months!

    I love baseball!

To me, College Football is the easiest by far. Baseball is just too boring to follow for 7 months. It is hard to keep your concentration trying to dope out 10-15 games a day for 7 months. The limits are also way too low.

College basketball? I've found that hard to cap.

College hoops is dangerous. You never know when players are on the take.

Yes but the lines makers have that data also. There is some much data that it is tough to keep it updated with games everyday unless you have a lot of time. I find it one of the tougher sports.

One hint though is to search for umpire data because you can find profitable trends there if you can get your plays in before which ump behind the plate is widely known.

well the only time the HP umpire isn't known by everyone well before game time is the 1st game of the series.

Yeah, long gone are the 'good old days' when you could at least get a handle on the crew working the first game of a series 24 hours in advance. That was already ending before Sept. 11th, but then really became impossible after (hint: travel plans).

i wouldn't use the word easy, because i assimilate easy with brushing teeth and banging 10's (ha). I would say its less hard.

this might sound limited, but an approach for myself I've done best with over the years concerning baseball is to focus your analytics on a small number of teams.
Really get to know those teams. Doesn't matter if it's just one you're a fan of, or two. Probably less than 5 max. If you know everything going on with those teams, you will get a much better feel for when they will win and when to not touch them.
Keep an eye on streaks. When a losing streak is due to break it presents big odds + opportunities.

First year trying my hand at handicapping some baseball, nothing big. I'm going to follow my Giants, but it'd be hard to go against them, primary going to stick to the over/unders.

Winning at MLB is second nature to me because I love the game so much and know so much about it... I can't wait for the season to start, I will create a thread and post all my plays there.

I drill totals at a very high percentage
