On Page 1 I was bashing the Giants and saying they didn't have enough offense to get here. However, that was before they picked up Burrell, Ross and before Posey or Torres were in the picture. Now I think they should play great against Texas. Should be a fun series.

You watch way too much espn and not enough Giants baseball to say that the giants have no offense. People continue to say that the giants have no offense but if you look at the numbers they are in the top half or within a few spots of the top half of almost all hitting categories since all star break.

They finished top 10 in HR and 6th in homeruns since ASB.

If you factor in that they have the best pitching staff and 2nd best bullpen in the league, you would realize that the giants dont need to score 7 runs a game to win. Usually if they score 3 runs or more they win(80-24 regular season record when scoring 3 or more, 5-1 postseason record).

Keep doubting the Giants and they will surprise you.

Game 2 and all i hear is cj wilson. Giants will not lose tonight if they put up 3 runs. Matty cainer is 11-0 this season when giants score 3 or more.

Go get it mr horse... make it 12-0

Granted, if they do get past the Dodgers and they get a good post season schedule, they can go very far with only two starters. But I'm still not crazy about their chances against the Cardinals and/or Phillies. And they don't have a shot in hell against a Yankee lineup that now has Granderson and a rotation that now has Vasquez. Obviously, there's some Yankee bias here, though.

I hate the Giants, but I like Lincecum. And Cliff Lee used to play for my team. Go Giants!

In a 5 game series, no one can rival that staff...The problem is though, they wont ever make it. not with ZERO offense and 162 games.
Only one WC and the weakness in the Central dominated by STL and MIL, as well as the constant battle for second in the East between ATL and FLA will make it nearly impossible for the Giants to get in.
Holy crap rthoughton, can I please be your bookie?
