From what I hear Kouzmanoff is a horse.
If the young pitching matures and Sheets has a good year you never know.
Who calls a 3rd baseman a horse?
Hate this club, hope they stay away from the playoffs. Would be a shitt playoffs if they are theor, just awful.
That's good to see Oakas. I was starting to get afraid of this coming season. We just have to hope that Duke and Sheets can hold the rotation together.

Good to see some other A's fans here.
Oakland will be a lot better than a lot of the public thinks. They've got top-notch speed and defense, and great pitching. It's obvious that there are not many power bats in the lineup, but there are some dependable hitters. Capitalizing on the speed that Rajai Davis and Coco Crisp bring to the lineup will be key. Hopefully this year will be the year when Kurt Suzuki starts to get the credit that he deserves around the league too.

I have to say, my biggest hope for the season is that Geren will sit that loser Cust. I hate to see him DHing, and I hate even more to see him on the field. He's a waste of a body, and strikes out more times than he does anything even remotely useful. Oh and hustle is a word that is clearly not in his vocabulary

I'm guessing that is what he meant.
I still don't get the Sheets signing. Lots of speculation they will deal him in July to a contender, but any club even having to pick up a pro-rated portion of that $10 million salary is going to have to swallow hard. It's almost like the A's were bidding against themselves for this guy, a la Tom Hicks and the Rangers when they went after A-Rod years ago.
Too many people writing the Halos off too easily. Mariners going to be better, Rangers definitely going to be better.

This is going to be a good team like the 99 team
but with better pitching! I think all 4 teams are closer
than people think it should be a fun year and hey you never

I like the moves I think they have a totaly solid team. They remind me of the Rockies I think they will suprise lots of people they have best staff in the west 1-5
A's may have the worst offense in the MLB this year

Dallas Braden is going to need quality starts this year. The Angels are going to be hard for The A's to compete with.

As will have a tough time with Angels, the improved Mariners, and the powerful offense in Texas
AL West could be the best race this year. A's will compete but most likely fall off by the all star break.
It should be very interesting.

Ya, he is not a legend yet, but is easily the best power hitter in baseball right now.
