    It's about time. He still willnot get into the Hall of Fame. He has no valid reason for not coming clean to Congress and lying to them. He should be punished accordingly.

    Ha. Yeah, no doubt. The thing is, the way professional sports are set up, there is so much incentive to take drugs. Think about it, if you were a borderline good player who has been in AA ball for a few years and have gotten a few call-ups to AAA, you don't make much money. Most of those minor leaguers have other jobs on the side. If you take steroids, you make yourself into a player who can get a major league contract. It's all about the money. If I had a wife and two kids and the choice between $30,000 a year and $3,000,000 a year, I take the 3 million.

    Both Bonds and Clemens will go to their death bed declaring their innocence. They have told the lie for so long and so much, they believe it to be truth. Plus, their arrogance will never make them admit guilt.

    I played D-I baseball for a very good baseball school in the mid 90's, probably 20 guys on my team drafted that I played with (fresh-seniors)...one still pitches in MLB. Anyway I took steroids (half cycle) and I did notice a slight difference, nothing much but I did felt different. At that time none of us were doing anything but drinking at the bar, this didn't exist much back then. Now it's everywhere and I don't blame any of them for doing it because of the money and competition that there is, it is a business plain and simple. They should have tested and made the policy much harder if they actually cared. Baseball is all numbers. Guys use juice in the NFL a lot more than you think but no body cares. If you break the homerun record it is a big deal. If you chase down running backs and break the tackles record or pancake record nobody gives a shit.

    who cares...everyone knows they all use some type of enhancement. whether for muscle gain or for stimulants who cares!

    no idea why its in the effing news.....most of america knows once again. CNN reported this news story for over an hour...typical CNN bull sht. unreal

    Like people couldn't tell?He's a bean pole then turns into the incredible hulk overnight.Bonds was obvious cause what players production goes up after they pass their prime.

    It shouldn't keep him out of the hall of fame. If he was one of the best during that era then he should get in. There were no rules against using then so whose fault is it? The Commissioner turned a blind eye and should be the one to come out next and admit he knew it was going on.
