April 10: Diamondbacks-Giants Over 8 [-120] Delgado vs. Vogelsong. Delgado was bombed in Colorado in his only start this season for 10 hits and six runs in just 4 IP. He has had issues going much past four innings through the Spring and now into the regular season. That should mean a decent dose of the ARI bullpen which sports a lofty 5.20 ERA. Vogelsong got thrashed in his opener for four earnies in just 4 IP. The longball was a problem as he yielded too. It continued a rough Spring for him. The SF pen probably won't allow for a ton after Vogelsong is chased, but hopefully Vogelsong will give up plenty to add to the total. He has a 4.48 ERA against ARI lifetime. All of the decent pieces in Arizona's lineup have had good swings against him. Hill, Goldschmidt, Parra and Montero all have success. Both team playing heavy on OVERs early. SF in 8/9 and ARI in 8/11.

April 11: Marlins -127
Fernandez vs. Burnett. Edge Fish. Fernandez has been dominant through two starts & has owned this PHI lineup in his brief career. Three starts, one run allowed. He was worse on the road last year and this is his first road start, but he even killed the Phils at their park in 2013. Burnett had control problems last time out. One team breaks their skid. MIA 0-3 on the road. PHI 0-3 at home. Both bullpens are gas can specials, so the SP is huge & why I think Miami can win.

April 11: Indians-White Sox Over 7.5 [-120] Carrasco vs. Sale. Carrasco was lit up in his first start for five runs, four earned in 5.2 IP against MIN. His career #s against the Pale Hose are disasterous with an ERA over 7 in two starts. Some different pieces in the ChiSox lineup than what he has faced, but De Aza & Dunn are in and both have solid #s against hime. Sale surprisingly has been crushed by CLE. Santana & Swisher have owned him, combining for 10 hits in 17 ABs against him last season. Raburn, Gomes & Kipnis also have had success in the past couple seasons. If the Tribe can get Sale out, they get time against a leaky bullpen that sports a 6.75 ERA. The CLE pen has been solid, so Chicago needs to get a lot of its runs against Carrasco. Six of the last eight for CLE have gone OVERs overall, while CHI has gone OVERs in 7/10.
April 12: Royals-Twins Over 7.5 [+105] Shields vs. Nolasco. Shields has been solid, but Nolasco has been garbage through two starts. He has allowed five runs in each start and that also means a good shot that the MIN bullpen is in action today for several innings. They sport a 5.17 ERA. The KC bullpen has also been trash with an ERA just under 6, so if the Twins can make Shields work - they could tack on runs late as well. MIN has been an OVERs dream so far, cashing in 9/10. KC has played more unders, but have hit OVERs in two straight.
April 12: Brewers-Pirates Under 8.5 [-105] Gallardo vs. Volquez. Gallardo is off to a great start this season and PIT has been one of his favorite teams to go against. He is 11-4 with a 2.59 ERA in 20 career appearances vs. the Bucs. He has yet to allow an earned run in 2014. Volquez was solid in his PIT debut, making it through 5.1 IP and allowing just one run against STL. Certainly there will be times when he takes a big dump on the mound, but if he can get into the 6th inning in the majority of his starts with the Bucs in the game - he'll be a solid part of the rotation. Both pens have been excellent with PIT having an ERA just over 2 and MIL just under 1. MIL has played UNDERs in 4/4 @ home, while PIT played their first road UNDER in the opener of this series after three straight OVERs against the Cubs.
April 13: Indians-White Sox Over 8.5 [-120] Kluber vs. Quintana. Kluber improved in his last start, but has still been pretty hittable this year. That bodes well for a ChiSox team raking righties at home right around .300. Quintana has been able to shake off a horrible Spring with two solid outings. He has given up just two earned runs in each of his two starts. Both teams have been heavy OVERs hitters early this season with CLE hitting that way in 8/12 and CHI in 9/12. The first three games of this series have hit into double digit totals. ChiSox home games are 6/6 in OVERs so far this year.
April 13: Mariners +124 Kazmir vs. Young. Mostly a hunch here. Kazmir has been rock solid in his 1st two starts, but SEA has had better success against lefties so far this season than righties. They are hitting over .300 against southpaws @ SAFECO and sport a 4-0 mark in games started by lefties. Young makes his 1st start after coming out of the pen to open the season. The SEA pen has been superb with a 1.99 ERA, so if Young can give them 5-6 IP, the Ms should be in this game.
Gonna feel lucky if I can sneak out a Seattle win. CLE-CHI look locked on an under. Weather delay and lack of hitting with RISP for the few shots they have had clinched an under me thinks.
April 14: Nationals-Marlins Over 7.5 [-110]
Pitching rematch of Zimmerman & Hand that led to a 17 run total. Certainly not expecting that, but both are OVERs friendly lately. WAS is 5/6 in road OVERs and five straight overall. MIA is 4/6 in home OVERs and 4/5 overall.
April 15: Blue Jays-Twins Over 7.5 [-115] Morrow vs. Hughes. MIN has been an OVERs beacon with 10/12 overall hitting that direction. Big thing is getting Hughes out and working into the MIN bullpen which sports a fairly lofty ERA. Hughes has only gone five in each start. Morrow has been okay, but not great. MIN quietly raking the ball @ Target Field.
April 15: Dodgers-Giants Over 8 [-110] Beckett vs. Lincecum. The two former aces continue to struggle for any sort of form. Beckett got beat up for five runs/four earned in just 4 IP in his only start. Lincecum has given up 11 earned runs in two starts, totaling just 10 IP. SF is a sensational 11/13 in cashing OVERs this season. LAD are six OVERs and seven UNDERs, but six of their last eight are OVERs. The Dodgers offense comes in hot after crushing Arizona for 22 runs in three games. One of the starters may do decent enough tonight, but I'm banking on one getting banged around enough to give this # a solid shot to go OVER.
