They might have to go with a patchwork group for a season that would include Lowrie. They can still sign Gonzalez, by the way, Peter 'The Rumor Man' Gammons also says they've thought of Omar Vizquel as a backup midfielder. It all leads to Jose Iglesias no later than 2012 anyway.
