The parlays are just an experimental system to see if they can be profitable on top of straight bets. This is purely based on observations that this system hits a clean sweep fairly regularly, enough so that a parlay play may also be profitable. But they are more for fun so I wouldn't advise to tail them.

Default Panekkkkkk...what is the criteria for these picks?

I know you said in the top post it was some CIA top secret stuff that you didn't want to reveal because all the 7 figure bettors in SBR would move the lines too much (I guess). Now that you have played for a while can you tell us what the criteria is? Or is the CIA still making you keep that under wraps?

Hah curious, I would love to but seeing as I have yet to make a penny off this (been tracking only) unfortunately the secret will remain for some time. Much like how many others share their picks but keep their spreadsheets/formulas/stats to themselves, so too will I. The system is simple but developing it was rather complex. I'm not so worried about those big 7-figure SBR bettors but I've seen what making some systems public can do (just ask CK). SBR is reaching far too wide an audience nowadays it seems. I will however continue to post pics and after seeing this thing chug along am fairly confident that the results will remain positive.

And as predicted, system will likely finish 2-1, with Oakland upsetting Tampa! ****ing knew it lol.

I have started betting but just betting small so far. Other plays that I have been making haven't been so successful!

Great job Panek. I look forward to your 2nd half plays. 11-3 is nothing to sneeze at.

No plays for today. Atlanta was originally a go but the line has dipped way beyond -180 at most books and therefore is a no play.

UPDATE: Adding the Dodgers. As I mentioned, this system is subject to when I look at the lines. I have never really gone back in the afternoon after making my morning picks to re-evaluate picks. Because this system has been so successful without me doing that, I'm not so strong on this pick (at least according to the system). Public has much more sway the further into the day you go, hence my hesitation, and the public is heavily influencing these lines (79% on Dodgers, moving line from -120 to -140). We'll see how this turns out and I'll go from there. But I hate riding that heavily with the public.

It's crazy how many different systems I have seen this game qualify for which means the books are in line to cash in big if the Dodgers lose!

    Dodgers -140 (caution)

Well my instincts were correcting and I will no longer be adding plays late especially when line movements are based heavily on the public. Rodriguez was a beast last night and my original play in Atlanta was the correct call. Plays soon.

Panek have you compared your system to the closing lines like 15 minutes before 1st pitch?

Unfortunately not and there's really no way to do it retrospectively. Going forward I will do the best I can but it will be a few weeks before anything becomes apparent. I was also a little weary about playing the first few days right after the all-star break but whatever, we'll see how this goes . I'm still trying to analyze and tweak as this goes along but this is the first I've noticed of plays changing as the day progresses. I like sticking to the mornings before the public starts hammering the favorites (like the Dodgers game yesterday).

For anyone wondering, the parlay system since I started tracking this back in June is up 25 units. It hit 5 clean sweeps which is good, but literally way too good, so I don't expect that to keep up.

UPDATE: Okay, so there are actually a number of plays that have changed as the day goes on. For now, I am going to stick with the system and go with the plays that I make in the morning as this is how this system was developed and I don't want to mess with a good thing. I will re-run things at closing (or about 5-6 PM when I leave work) and compare how the results would have fared to my early picks going forward from now on.

Keeping in mind how much some of these plays can change as the day goes on, I'd just like to remind anyone following this that this is still in a testing phase so really tail with caution!!!

Yeah I've been betting each play. Still iffy on the parlays so I've been betting them small but I don't suggest tailing those for now . It's funny because the two games that became plays later both won: Tampa (barely) and Colorado. I'll continue to watch these "late" plays and see what happens. Damn Ohka not starting for Sea personally screwed me out of a unit. I heard he might not start and then forgot to take the action play. Ah well, on to tomorrow

SF fukked me pretty bad too man, I had a nickel on them and then I had a $200 6 team parlay with rockies and san fran left to cash and figures san fran fukks me, cost me $4,100!!

I also forgot to put action on SEA too like you, but if the reverse wouldve happened and Felix was out I wouldve been pissed so oh well I guess..

14 innings of one-run ball! I honestly hate those games. The home team seems to win extra innings game every time I bet on the road squad.
