- Mets are 8-3 this year in the first game of a series.
- Mets are avg more than 6 runs per game during the win streak.
- Mets are 17-5 in Santana's last 22 starts.
- Chipper is doubtful.
- Braves are 2-6 in their last 8 games in NY.
- Braves road bullpen is 4.61. Mets home bullpen is 2.39.
- Santana's night ERA is 0.69.
- Lowe's ERA in his last three starts is 4.82.
- The last time Lowe started at NY (2007) he gave up 8 earned runs in 3 innings.
I may lose this play, but if I do....at least I went down with every stat edge on my side. I can live with that.

Trust me... Putting money to win on the highest ML is a psychological thing. Do some backtrack to see if I am right.. There are plenty of times where the highest ML have lost. Countless times it ends with 4 or 5 consecutive losses in a row.
What you are doing here is the perfect definition of a compulsive gambler. You have lost half of your bankroll and it continuing this trend will get you to lose more.

I hope the Mets win tonight, but I wouldn't say all the stats are with you:
"In three starts against the Braves last season, Santana was 0–2, during which he allowed 28 hits in 21 innings.
Chipper Jones, Matt Diaz and Kelly Johnson are hitting a combined .475 in 40 at bats against Santana."

This is how a gambler is betting.
I don´t see any reason to bet this high amount on one single pick. Your chance is 50/50 no matter how high, good or bad the value of the bet is...
If you want to make money you have to see placing a bet as an investment. Your bankroll is your capital and you are going to act like the big boys who brought us this financial crisis...
Nevermind I wish you good luck with your selection!

Ok I'm a Met's fan so I'm not trying to say they won't win BUT the big problem with this game tonight is the Met's like to stop scoring runs when Santana pitches. I don't know why but it's like they figure they guy is so good we only need 1-2 runs to win. In Johan's 6 starts this year they have only scored a total of 12 runs! Simple math that even I can handle tells me that is only 2 runs per game. Plus I have lived the past 15 years of my life watching the Braves beat the Met's. Not sure if I would have picked this game to put all my chips on but best of luck to you and F**k Atlanta.

I wouldn't go all in because the Braves have been known to upset some teams. Recently the Champs...
But I think the Mets will win.

I'm not sure there is such thing as an "upset" in a 162 game regular season baseball schedule.
Good luck with your pick tonight Machine. Its your money, not for us to decide whether or not its the right choice or not.

No offense intended with these questions. Who is the guy in your avatar and does he still have the mullet?
GL tonight.
Also the Mets line has dropped from -192 to -182. It's becoming a better play by the hour.

I like the Mets alot tonight too, so much so I put a runline bet on them.
But I am only betting one unit. I am pulling for you buddy. These guys are red hot and I understand that Chipper may not be in the lineup tonight.

Your money management gets you thru the times when you are making bad selection decisions. It will control your impulses to chase. Nothing like good money managment. In reality, it is the difference between a quality capper and a degenerate.
