I'm going to grind this shit out a little longer, but if I get to -3k I'll stop, no way I'm giving back all the basketball profit. Thing that puzzles me is the fact that according to me the plays are solid just like the basketball ones. Maybe variance since the amount of plays is still small.

the lines your taking are too heavily juiced therefore requiring you to hit a higher percentage. Compared to baskettball you can usually get -110 odds on both sides of a prop however in baseball due to the #s having more value its impossible to not have one side of a prop more juiced than the other. With all this in mind I would either suggest to decrease your unit size so you do not risk losing much or completely stop betting baseball props.

I still find them to be good bets. If something happens 66.7% of the time and I can get -170 for it I'm getting a good deal. You are right that in hoops I had most of my bets close to -110, I averaged -106 on 432 plays and hit 55.3% of them, hence the great results.

The one thing you are definitely right about though is that I have bet too much the last 3 plays. I don't find off lines as often as I did in hoops even though there are many more MLB games every day. I guess I got impatient and used my hoops bankroll to make those bets. Big mistake, I should have kept my bets small like I did at the beginning.

    Thanks for your post.

Yeah, cheme, I don't know about your bankroll but your recent betting amount is way higher than the early bets. Like you said, for me, you need to grind with MLB props and should not take any big shots.

Have you tried NO RBI prop bets? I think you will have some success. I don't like team's H-R-E totals and Score 1st Inning/No Score 1st Inning, those are crap shoots.

Also, I'm curious what things you consider for your MLB player prop bets?

  32. #102

I was playing with about 6k that I made off the last 3 months of hoops, I play at Bovada and they don't have the RBI props. I look at players averages and the pitcher. Also the over/under and try to determine how many at bats they will get. Then it's just probability and compare that to the available line. Same thing I did for hoops but somehow it's not working for MLB.
