I will try to answer your question and give you my input:
1) If you scroll through the thread and see the Original Poster's (OPs) intent, I think he had a 4-game chase and chase till you drop system (ie chase forever till u recoop)
2) I am personally doing a 4 game chase and IF it gets any farther than that (or out of my comfort zone, I will incorporate a labby system).
3) As far as high units per game, that is the risk of a chase system. I recommend you lower your unit size from the start if you are uncomfortable. That is the intrinsic risk of a chase system, is if u lose multiple games in a row, it can get very stressful. HOWEVER, this system, in my opinion, is better bc we are essentially betting on dogs (I believe yesterday was the first time totals were played, and thus being -110 opposed to past +ev odds).

On a personal note, u want to hear stress, I was fading the nyy and was on my 4th game of the chase yesterday on Sea +186!!!! On one hand, bc of the +ev odds, it wasnt so bad, but on the other it was my 4th game in and going againt Pettite and NYY hot bats and betting on sea made me quesy!!!

FYI: Last season Crusher went on some major win streaks.

Of course, this doesn't guarantee what will happen this season but it's worth thinking about.


7 straight wins from June 22 to June 28

5 straight wins from Aug 16 to Aug 20

7 straight wins from Aug 26 to Sept 1

8 straight wins from Sept 11 to Sep 18 (this could be longer but I don't have data on Sep 10, 8)

Just like this season, Crusher eats alot of chalk. I don't know if the heavy chalk hits mid to late season because Vegas has a better feel for where the teams are. I'm sure there are other factors involved but since I do not auto-fade Crusher or anyone else I won't waste my time trying to figure out exactly why.
