No a bad night for a change on Monday. I will be back with more for the Tuesday night card. I agree, the Phillies with Lee looks like a solid opportunity. The Reds may have a sizable leads in the Central, but the Pirates are refusing to let go of the playoff dream. Plus, the Cards maybe the most dangerous an vastly under rated of teams looking into the playoffs at this point.

    Thursday Night:

    10* Philadelphia -111

    5* Boston +106

My reasons for making these plays are on the MLB page of the site. Thanks.

Cueto is not good against left-handed batters and the Phillies will have at least seven left-handed bats in the lineup. The last time they faced a starter like Cueto that struggled significantly more against LH hitters, the Phils first seven in the lineup were LH sticks.

A small 5 unit gain last night. Let's see if we can get a mammoth one tonight. I like this card quite a bit.

    5* San Diego +168
    5* Oakland +175
    5* St. Louis +110
    5* Kansas City +164

three-team round robin with KC, Oakland, and San Diego for a 3* amount on each of the three parlays.

And a 1.5* amount on the three teams combined to form a three-team parlay.

WOW! If this rumor of Beckett, Gonzalez, Crawford, and Punto to the Dodgers! I find it very odd that three of them are on waivers and all are claimed by the Dodgers. It is possible that one or all of them will be dealt by Sunday. I highly recommend that since Beckett has been removed from starting Saturday and Cook is listed is a near certainty that at least he is going to LA.

John Henry is making the right move now. If he lets this team continue to cannibalize itself, it will also extend into the off season where fans have the right to complain about the terrible performance of this team. Problem is that nobody will take Valentine as a trade!!!! He is as much to blame in this situation as anyone. Normally, the manager is the scapegoat for the player's poor performance, but honestly, who truly wants to play for the arrogant selfish, all about me, Valentine?

5* graded play on the Houston Astros as they take on the NY Mets set to start at 1:10 PM ET. The Mets are reeling on a team and in my opinion, even their stud ace R.A. Dickey cannot stem the fall. Houston is the worst team in baseball, but they are very aggressive swingers on offense. Astros rank 18th in MLB averaging 2.97 walks per game. Mets are just 3-11 (-13.7 Units) against the money line in home games vs. teams whose hitters draw 3 walks or less per game in the second half of this season; 3-11 (-14.9 Units) against the money line when facing teams outscored by opp by 0.5 or more runs per game in the second half of this season; 9-30 (-27.6 Units) against the money line vs. teams whose hitters strike out 7 or more times/game in the second half of the season this season. Take Houston.

Record has been terrible this season. Still a month to go.. and if we could just hit one of these three team round robins. That is another FIRST that I have never had a season where I did not hit a minimum of FIVE of them and this season I have not won all three ONCE! Can't hope in this business.. Like stocks.. once you start hoping that a stock you bought is or will come back to the purchase price SELL IT! don't hold it. Being married to a stock is by far the worst thing ever for anyone to endure financially speaking..

    5* Baltimore + 134
    5* Cleveland +140
    5* Philadelphia +103

Let's also try another three-team round robin parlay wagering 3* on each pair.

  28. #798

    5* Houston +155
    5* Boston +163
    5* Toronto + 163

Three-round robin using these three teams for a 3* amount each.

Won two-out-three yesterday - again.. If we could just nail down the sweep.. maybe today.. Obviously I like these dogs.

Our comeback is gaining a bit of steam... It is a 162 game season and for 18 years I have never stopped because of great gains or great losses. This is by far the worst year I have had, but for those who tailed me last year, they know how well these plays can be.

I will keep posting and keep playing in a disciplined manner like I have all season and like I have for 18-years.

    5* Tamp Bay -117
5* Baltimore +103 with Gonzalez starting.
    10* UNDER Pittsburgh/Houston. 8 1/2 -110
    10* UNDER Milwaukee/Miami 9 +105
