I would like this to happen.

The last time I played Series futures, it was 2006 when I did the same for St. Louis and Detroit. As a Mets fan, it sucked when the second half of the combo came through but it was quite refreshing knowing I was taking home some bank no matter who won the thing. IIRC, the money was pretty even.

Really do not see Detroit getting to the WS. The central was godawful this year. Tigers don't have enough pitching and the pen is not good enough. I see a Phils v Yankees or Rangers series. Hopefully the Yankees do not win. That would suck.

As a Mets fan, if I see another Phillies/Yankees World Series, I think I might become a cutter.
