    jeffdane august mlb

    1st play in August:

    Its not a dog, but the Padres just lost their leading rbi man and must face Kershaw. They did good Sunday but this is a different animal.

    last 30 ip Kershaw has given up 2 er.
    padres are 29th in runs scored.
    giants are 28th, kershaw vs giants this year, 27 ip 4er.
    astros 26th, kershaw 6 ip 1er.

    to make matters worse, the padres(at home) are scoring 2.9 runs/game.
    luebke has gotten worse each game and gave up 3 hr's his last outing.



    10pm est game so there will only be this one play for Monday, August 1, 2011.

    I have a feeling this line will rise and the masses will love seeing the Yankees as a dog.

    Hughes has sucked this year, you dont need the specifics on him. Lets just say 8.24 era whip near 2. last 2 games were against Oakland and Seattle. 10 ip 9 er 18 hits 5 bb. A's and M's not exactly juggernauts.

    White Sox need this game to make a run at the pennant. I look for Adam Dunn to finally hit a baseball today.

    e jackson is pitching great, he's excited being a card. Wolf due to get hit. Cards need this game more. Seems like the betting is 50/50 and I like the line movement. Brewers striking out alot lately.
