    If you were Brain Cashman...

and sent the Mariners a sheet with 5 lines and said, "fill in these five lines of your choice of prospects for Felix Hernandez"...

    would you do it?

Yankees have any good prospects left? Don't think so.

Why not? It's not like the Yankees need prospects. All they do is wait until a big star is a free agent and throw the most money at him.

    Montero
    Betances
    Banuelos
    Romine
    Sachez/Heathcott ?

I think that helps both teams

Felix is a player you build your team around. Never trade him.

Every team wants two ace pitchers. Seattle has that. Do not work backwards if you are Seattle. Not having any bas can be solved by spending money in the offseason, and dumping Figgins @ the nearest dumpster.

as a yankee fan i wouldnt do it. they can have one top line pitching prospect. betances-banuelos-andrew brackman

and one top line catching prospect. romine-montero-gary sanchez

and id be willing to throw in nova and eduardo nunez. cashman wouldnt include nunez in the cliff lee deal. thats what held that deal up. nunez is highly regarded around the league by other GMs

The Yanks would never unload all of their main Minor League pieces...they were willing to give up Montero last year in the Cliff Lee debacle....but not sure they would ever do that again. Montero is their answer at catcher probably starting next season with Russell Martin.

i dont think so dirty. he is a future DH. they dont see him as a catcher. they see romine or sanchez as the future catcher

It won't happen. Yankees won't win WS this season. Hank will fire Cashman and they will sign ttwarrior to be the other 350lb ace.

Could be...at Scranton he's hitting .291 with 10 Hr and 47 RBI's....I'd take that over Cervelli who's pretty much a liability at the plate. He's rated the #3 prospect in the minors
