You said it yourself that billingsley is a stud. The way I see it, you can get a great pitcher at plus money at home. The Phils will win the series, but that will probably happen in Philly.

Dodgers take this game with Billingsly on the mound, he is nearly untouchable at home down the stretch. This series will go 7 games watch and see! Plus u get dodgers as an underdog, they are a young team and will come out fighting with their backs against the wall.

ryan, you make it sound like the Phils have been mopping the floor with this dodgers team. While I want Philly to go all the way, by looking at the last two philly games in LA you will see that they weren't that much better. They lost the first won and won the 2nd because of a 2-run matt stairs homer. Taking plus money with billingsley on the mound is solid. Hamels is great, but there is no reason why he shoudl be favored.

A: hammels is better than billingsley
b: hammels is a lefty and other than manny, the dodgers do not hit lefties
c: the phils are a better team
d: the phils have a better pen

The Dodgers bat .275 versus lefties as a team, so I'm pretty sure they can hit them well. Hamels is better than billingsley, but home field advantage should make up for that. The Phils pen isn't substantially better than the dodger's pen. Don't judge their pen based on last game. The Phils are the better team, but does the better team win 10 out of 10 games?

I think when you have a team like the dodgers that are not much worse than the phils in all those facets at plus money, you take it.
