Just saw this...

Well my friend, quite a few "very knowledgable boxing insiders" that I know said told me that while it was close, Arce did just enough to win the fight. Bottom line is, and you should know this, if you're fighting at home you have a scoring edge. It happened in Marquez-John, Arce-Lookmahanak, and countless others.

That Thai guy but destroyed by an absolute bum and has been very flaky at home but in this case it was more a sign of how far Arce has fallen. I spoke to Lookmahanak around a week ago and what he told me was that although he thought he fought the best he ever had in his career (definitely), he wasn't shocked at the scores and had no problem with the judges thinking he lost because he thought he should have done more in the later part of the fight.

If they fight a rematch in Vegas (for which there are talks going on), I still won't give him a chance. -2000 is steep, agreed, but 99% of the Thais who fight outside of Asia get stomped or always come up short (as with Lookmahanak). The notable exceptions have been Sithchatchawal and Yodsanan who I'll see fight this week.

In this case luck had nothing to do with it. Arce won and that's all that counts - luck or not.
