No, if you
subtract (x-4) from both sides you get:
(x+2) - (x-4) = 1 + 2*sqrt(x-5) + (x-5) - (x-4)
6 = 2*sqrt(x-5)

No, you're not cross-multiplying correctly. Try doing it again
carefully.
Numerator = 5 * (sqrt(13)+3)
Denominator = (sqrt(13)-3) * (sqrt(13)+3)
