Actually I had just said that that script was tested to work on those sites (the CRIS-family sites). This new script is much more generic and should be usable on the majority of sites without any tinkering.

Well firstly, a player shouldn't be playing at any book that "love to steal players funds for their own personal amusement" anyway.
Secondly, it's very lightweight in what it does. It places far less load on a server than an auto-refresh script. It's making a very small request, doing so infrequently, and in an unobtrusive manner. It isn't refreshing a page ... it's just asking a server, "If I
were to refresh this page could you tell me a little bit about the type of information I'd get back?"
It's not doing anything out of the ordinary either, it looks like normal traffic (except it occurs at regular intervals when idle -- although I suppose could add in a random delay).
