How can people have the same number of right picks and have different points? Is the scoring system somewhat different than usual?
In the Rules and Prizes thread posted prior to the start of the contest, the scoring system is described as follows:

Scoring: Seed Number x Round Weight = Total
• Round Weighting: Rd1=1x; Rd2=2x; Rd3=3x; Rd4=4x; Rd5=5x; Rd6=6x

• Examples:
- Correctly picking a 16th seed in the 1st round would award 16 points (16 for the 16th seed x 1 for the 1st round).
- Correctly picking a 5th seed in the 3rd round would award 15 points (5 for the 5th seed x 3 for the 3rd round).
- Correctly picking a 2nd seed in the finals would award 12 points (2 for the 2nd seed x 6 for the finals).
